Gaussian vs Gaus-Jordan
When comparing both of these methods it is important to note that they may both be used to arrive at the same conclusion. While surfing the mighty big internet for the best explanation of the differences between the two different methods, I found that the most simple and easy comparison is that Gauss-Jordan elimination brings a matrix to reduced row echelon form, whereas Gaussian elimination takes it only as far as row echelon form. Both of these methods are quite useful but in my opinion Gaus-Jordan is a little bit harder because of the amount of room there is for failure, which is very little. In this sense, if you mess up one row or column the whole problem fails! :(
